Raluca Mariana Grosu

Director

Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business and Tourism (Bucharest University of Economic Studies), with international background as a visiting scholar and short-term visitor for entrepreneurship experience exchange at leading European universities across the UK, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy. Passionate about research, teaching and the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems, she is the author/co-author of numerous scientific publications and actively involved in research projects, training programs for entrepreneurs and initiatives supporting start-ups. At the same time, she coordinates applied academic work, contributing to the transformation of ideas into real, sustainable businesses. Furthermore, she serves as General Secretary of the Editorial Office of Amfiteatru Economic journal and reviewer and member of the editorial board of other scientific journals.

Mihaela Bucur

Deputy Director

Associate Professor and researcher at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with over 19 years of experience in education and academic research. She carries out her teaching and scientific activity within the Department of Business, Consumer Sciences and Quality Management, Faculty of Business and Tourism, teaching courses such as: Logistics, Advanced Logistics Solutions, Research Methods, Business Coaching, Business Economics, Sales Techniques, and Commercial Technologies – a teaching portfolio that covers both the fundamentals of business economics and its applied and strategic dimensions. Her research activity spans interdisciplinary areas, with a focus on consumer behaviour, academic coaching and its benefits in the university environment. She is actively involved in disseminating research results through participation in international scientific conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Mihaela Maftei

Deputy Director

Mihaela Maftei, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Business, Consumer Sciences, and Quality Management, Faculty of Business and Tourism, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She is a member of the Association for Innovation and Quality in Sustainable Business – BASIQ and a reviewer for several journals and international conferences. Her research activity includes reviewing and publishing scientific articles in internationally indexed journals, participation in international conferences, and collaboration in research projects. The areas of interest are represented by quality, environmental and energy management systems, consumer sciences, human resources, and sustainability.

Irina Maiorescu

Scientific Secretary

Associated Prof. and researcher at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with more than 15 years of experience in education, research, and quality management. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business and Tourism, where she carries out teaching and scientific activities in areas such as quality management, business excellence, and applied information systems. Her academic activity is complemented by involvement in the organization of scientific conferences and symposia, as well as in developing relationships with professional environments and certification bodies. She also has professional experience within TÜV Rheinland Romania, in the fields of marketing, communication, and quality management systems auditing. She has served as project manager in Erasmus+ Sport and research projects, while in other European and national projects she contributed as an expert or team member within interdisciplinary teams. Her research interests focus on quality management, e-learning processes, organizational excellence, consumer behavior, and the use of digital technologies in education and management.

Răzvan Dina

Răzvan Dina is an Associate Professor within the Department of Business, Consumer Sciences and Quality Management at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His main areas of expertise include management information systems, e-commerce, consumer behavior, social networks, social media, and business sustainability. His research focuses on how digital technologies and behavioral factors influence consumer decision-making processes and organizational performance. He is a member of the editorial board of Amfiteatru Economic, a journal indexed in the Web of Science – Social Sciences Citation Index, and the author of numerous articles published in international journals and conference proceedings. His scientific work also addresses topics such as consumer rights protection, healthy eating behaviors, nutrition education, and sustainability. In addition, he is actively involved in the international academic community as a reviewer for specialized journals and as a member of professional organizations such as BASIQ Association and International Society of Commodity Science and Technology (IGWT). Through his teaching and research activities, he contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of business, consumer sciences, and digital transformation.
