Amfiteatru Economic is the most prestigious scientific journal in Romania dedicated to research in economics and business administration. With more than 25 years of outstanding academic contribution, the journal’s excellence was officially recognized through the “Excellence for Lifetime Achievement” distinction awarded by The Association of Faculties of Economics in Romania (AFER) on November 21, 2025, during the celebrations of “Economist’s Day” and “Economics Professor’s Day.”
Amfiteatru Economic promotes original economic research that advances knowledge in support of greater economic competitiveness, responsible business management and sustainable development. Founded by our colleague, Emeritus Professor Vasile Dinu, PhD, DHC, together with Professor Sandu Costache (1949–2023), the journal currently includes members of the Business Administration Research Center within its editorial board.
